Missouri Lakes
A crossroads of the Midwest, Missouri’s landscape ranges from highland areas to plains and prairies. And with lakes found across the landscape, anglers can choose from a variety of lakes to fish. Missouri lakes offer a variety of fish species, depths, water color, and structure. Fishing is best during Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons, but there are also lakes that can be fished during the Winter months.
To enjoy fishing in Missouri, you don’t have to own a boat as all lakes have accessible bank fishing areas. If you want to fish by boat, many of the marinas found on the lakes have boats for rent. For boat owners, there are plenty of ramps found around every lake. There are also numerous campgrounds, motels, and resorts found near and around the lakes to accommodate your week long or weekend trips.
